Are you currently working at a veterinary practice?  If so, you can get your clinic their first month of team training FREE!  This is a $250 value!

What does the first month of training look like?

  • Management meeting:   A one-on-one meeting with management and your personal VTA instructor, where together we will evaluate your practice’s individual needs, and set up a weekly meeting to review student progress, answer questions, discuss upcoming lessons, and determine how we can enhance the existing curriculum to suit your needs.
  • Student one-on-one sessions:  Your VTA instructor will have a one-on-one meeting with each individual student enrolled in training to assess individual learning styles and address questions as needed.
  • Student registration:  Students will create their own personal account in your clinic’s training page and start on their first set of lessons.  Students will have access to recordings, live webinars, notes, homework, and quizzes, with new lessons released weekly.

What happens AFTER the first month of training is completed?

  • Monthly fee:   There will be a monthly fee of $250 (maximum of 10 staff members per location) throughout the remainder of the course or you can quit at any time.   This fee includes lessons that will be released on a weekly basis and the following list of items/services.
  • Student meetings:  Students will have a one-on-one meeting with their instructor every 4 to 6 weeks to monitor progress, review lessons, evaluate topics that potentially need more work, set personal goals, and answer any questions they might have.
  • Management meetings:  Ongoing one-on-one management meetings once a week with your VTA instructor.
  • Monthly goals:  Students will set personal goals, such as, generating positive reviews, converting phone shoppers into customers, creating or upgrading new client packets, increasing client compliance with preventive care recommendations, and more!
  • Review Tests:  Students will take an online test every 6 weeks to evaluate their progress and pinpoint areas we need to work on.
  • Curriculum:  Each week will have multiple lessons that cover a variety of veterinary related topics with a focus on customer service, client education, communication skills, and self care.  Additional curriculum will be added and existing curriculum can be altered to suit each clinic’s individual needs based on student evaluations and meetings with management.
  • Length of course:  The total length of the curriculum is flexible but should last a minimum of 16 weeks (subject to change if we need more time for review, you prefer students to spend less time each week, added content to reflect your individual practice’s needs, etc.).
  • Time investment for each student: The amount of time each week depends on how invested the student is in the program with an average of 2 to 3 hours per week.

Hey there!

I’m Kasey Ellinwood, founder of VetSnoot Training Academy.

I’m a registered veterinary technician with over 25 years of experience in the veterinary industry, including nursing, practice management, inventory management, veterinary marketing, and sales.

It wasn’t until I had to find a veterinarian closer to home that I discovered what it really feels like to be on the other side of the exam table. It was this experience that led me to create VetSnoot. I’m super excited to announce the launch of VetSnoot Training Academy!
